We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our growing CPA firm. This role is ideal for someone with strong public accounting experience who is ready to take ownership of audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and work directly with clients across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Perform detailed audit procedures in accordance with GAAP and firm standards.
- Review work prepared by staff and provide coaching, feedback, and support.
- Identify and communicate audit issues, risks, and recommendations to managers and partners.
- Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and audit documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and handle day-to-day communication.
- Assist with training, development, and supervision of junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA license preferred (or actively pursuing).
- 3-5+ years of public accounting audit experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, audit methodology, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
